Enable ISA to Fix Firewall service failure itself......

If you have an issue with your ISA server which is usually caused when a new add-in is added to the ISA database then you might want to ammend the reporting configuration to save yourself from manual service restarting.
To enable ISA to restart the "Microsoft Firewall" service on failure set this within ISA management, firstly open the Monitoring configuration from your ISA server

In the toolbox click "Configure Alert Definitions" to view this dialogue...

Find the "Service not responding" event and click properties....

Change the additional condition to "ISA Firewall Service" as shown below:

Finally click Actions and click Start and Stop Services and select the Firewall services

This concludes this guide, now when the firewall service fails it will restart automatically!
